Where the comment is placed. To place a pin correctly, the assistant needs the location in model coordinates — a Revit element's unique id or a 3D point — and, for a view-specific comment, the view. Pinly's MCP doesn't read the Revit model itself: the assistant gets these from you or from another Revit tool.
AI comments in Revit
- Revit doesn't need to be open for the assistant to work. Keep it open with the model connected to see changes appear live.
- AI-created threads and comments show a ✨ sparkle in the panel, on the card, and on the pin.
- AI-created comments arrive unread, even though they're posted under your name.
- Use the AI comments only filter to see just them.
